IT Craft is looking for a proactive Support Engineer who is ready to take responsibility, grow professionally, and develop toward a DevOps role.
Responsibilities:
- Support and administration of Linux systems on bare metal servers;
- Work with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud: start/stop instances, configure networks, troubleshoot issues;
- Add new services and enhance client infrastructure architecture;
- Work with Terraform at a basic level (review and understand the structure, apply changes under the guidance of senior engineers);
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, internal assistants) to accelerate diagnostics, generate documentation, analyze logs, search for solutions, and optimize processes;
- Communicate with clients in English through Help Desk / ticketing systems;
- Perform initial incident diagnostics and escalate complex issues;
- Perform proactive monitoring to identify and prevent potential issues;
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to internal process improvements.
Requirements:
- Solid knowledge of Linux (CLI, systemd, networking, basic diagnostics);
- Experience with bare metal servers: OS installation, configuration, troubleshooting;
- Basic experience with AWS / Azure / GCP;
- Initial understanding of Terraform and IaC concepts;
- Understanding of network protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP;
- Proactivity, independence in problem-solving, and willingness to continuously learn;
- Desire to grow in DevOps: CI/CD, containerization, automation;
- English level — Intermediate or higher (written communication with clients).
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes;
- Scripting/automation skills (Bash, Python);
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, etc.);
- Ability to read and write Terraform configurations;
- Experience using AI tools in technical workflows.
