We’re looking for a content writer who can turn technical expertise into clear, compelling English-language content that helps B2B decision-makers evaluate technology partners and understand why IT Craft is the right choice.
Responsibilities:
- Write service and solution pages, landing pages, case studies, technical and educational guides, commercial and SEO-driven articles, and thought leadership content;
- Cover custom software development, dedicated teams, DevOps, cloud, modernization, discovery, AI integration, and industry-specific solutions;
- Create content for different stages of the B2B buyer journey, including comparison and decision-stage content, using project experience to demonstrate expertise and business value;
- Research topics, work from SEO briefs, and collaborate with engineers, solution architects, project managers, and other experts;
- Own content from the initial brief through publication, coordinating expert input, outlining, drafting, fact-checking, and editing with SEO and marketing teams;
- Use performance data and feedback to improve content, tracking organic traffic, rankings, engagement, qualified leads, conversions, and visibility in AI search and answer engines.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional B2B content writing or copywriting experience, including hands-on work for IT services, software development, IT outsourcing, or similar technology service businesses;
- Experience writing for, or a strong understanding of, B2B technology decision-makers, including CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Heads of Product, founders, and procurement and business stakeholders;
- An understanding of how technology services are positioned and sold, and how content helps potential clients understand problems, evaluate solutions, build trust, and make business decisions;
- A solid grasp of SEO fundamentals, including search intent, keyword research, content structure, headings, internal linking, and on-page optimization;
- Strong research, fact-checking, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly;
- A proactive, self-directed approach and the ability to coordinate expert input, work quickly without sacrificing quality, and meet agreed deadlines;
- Confidence using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity. You can identify generic or inaccurate output and produce accurate, original, useful, natural-sounding content through research, expert input, verification, and editing;
- Experience writing about DevOps and/or cloud is strongly preferred, as these are key content priorities.
- Written English at C1 level or higher and a strong portfolio of English-language content across several of the formats listed above.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with healthcare, fintech, AI, cybersecurity, modernization, or other complex technology topics;
- Experience creating content for US, Canadian, UK, or Western European B2B audiences, our primary markets;
- Experience interviewing technical experts and turning their expertise into content.
- Understanding of GEO/AEO and how content is discovered and cited by AI search and answer engines;
- Examples of content that improved organic traffic, rankings, qualified leads, conversions, or AI visibility, with an understanding of why it worked.
