IT Craft is looking for a proactive Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team, work alongside experienced engineers, and grow within a supportive professional environment. The role also includes occasional participation in on-call support (2–3 times per month).
Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain Linux systems on bare metal servers;
- Work with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud environments: start and stop instances, configure networks, and troubleshoot issues;
- Add new services and help improve client infrastructure architecture;
- Work with Terraform at a basic level (review configurations, understand their structure, and apply changes under the guidance of senior engineers);
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, internal assistants) to speed up diagnostics, create documentation, analyze logs, find solutions, and optimize processes;
- Communicate with clients in English via Help Desk and ticketing systems;
- Perform initial incident analysis and escalate more complex issues when needed;
- Conduct proactive monitoring to detect and prevent potential problems;
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to internal process improvements.
Requirements:
- Solid knowledge of Linux (CLI, systemd, networking, basic troubleshooting);
- Hands-on experience with bare metal servers, including OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting;
- Basic experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP;
- Basic understanding of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts;
- Understanding of core networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP;
- Proactive attitude, ability to solve problems independently, and eagerness to learn;
- Strong interest in growing as a DevOps engineer (CI/CD, containerization, automation);
- English level — Intermediate or higher (written communication with clients).
