IT Craft is looking for a Business Analyst to join one of our projects on a part-time basis.
The role focuses on coordinating collaboration between development teams, Product Owner and stakeholders, converting business and technical inputs into clearly structured requirements. The expected workload is approximately 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate communication between developers, the Product Owner, and business stakeholders;
- Transform high-level product concepts into structured user stories with defined acceptance criteria, process descriptions, and data models, covering both functional and non-functional aspects;
- Ensure alignment between business objectives, user expectations, and technical implementation;
- Validate that requirements are realistic, testable, and consistent with the system architecture;
- Partner with the Product Owner to prepare and clarify backlog items for upcoming sprints, resolving scope questions, dependencies, and assumptions, and supporting requirement discussions;
- Provide ongoing clarification of requirements during development;
- Participate in UAT activities and confirm delivered functionality meets defined acceptance criteria.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects involving international clients;
- Practical experience in requirements elicitation and analysis;
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies;
- Basic knowledge of SDLC and requirements lifecycle management;
- Experience preparing technical documentation (SRS, epics, user stories, diagrams, etc.);
- Knowledge of Scrum and Agile frameworks;
- Experience working with Jira and Confluence;
- Effective communication skills for interaction with customers and development teams;
- Upper-Intermediate or higher level of spoken and written English.
